This policy explains how Vale and Max handle information on this wedding website, including the RSVP and photo-sharing pages.
Information you choose to provide
When you RSVP, the site asks for your name, email address, attendance response, meal selection, and any dietary notes you choose to provide. If you RSVP for a guest, it may also collect their name, meal selection, and dietary notes. When you share photos or videos, the site receives the files you select and the optional name you enter.
How we use information
RSVP details are used to organize attendance, guest counts, and meal arrangements for the reception. Shared photos and videos are used to preserve wedding memories and may be shared privately with the couple's guests, family, and friends. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.
Services that help run the site
The website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. RSVP responses are sent through a Cloudflare Pages Function to a private Google Sheet. Photos and videos are uploaded to private Cloudflare R2 storage and copied to a private Google Drive folder managed by Vale and Max. Cloudflare Turnstile checks RSVP and upload requests for automated abuse. Turnstile processes technical signals needed to provide that security service and does not access the contents of your form entries. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Those requests may disclose standard connection information, such as your IP address, to Google. We do not use analytics or advertising services.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Turnstile may use technical browser storage or similar signals as part of human verification. Cloudflare also offers an optional pre-clearance setting that can issue a clearance cookie; that setting is managed in the Turnstile dashboard rather than this site's code. Because the site has no analytics or advertising services, it does not show a cookie-consent banner.
Storage, sharing, and retention
RSVP information and media are kept in private accounts controlled by Vale and Max. Media may be shared with people they choose to include in the private wedding collection. Information is retained for planning and preserving the wedding collection, then deleted when it is no longer needed or when a reasonable removal request is received, subject to copies or records that must be retained for legitimate administrative reasons.
